Surroundings of Mirowska Street, Częstochowa

Mirów - district of Częstochowa, situated in the Eastern part of the city on the right bank of Warta near the turn. It is located near the Wyczerpy and Zawodzie-Dąbie districts. Although it was incorporated to the city in 1952 and despite the influence of the neighboring Częstochowa Steelworks, Mirów remains a district of recreational and suburban character. One can admire here numerous limestone rocks near the banks of Warta, as well as hills with Góra Ossona, a 316.7 m AMSL lookout, which is the city’s highest summit. From the upper part of Mirowska Street one can see the picturesque turn of Warta river.
